Try your chances at winning a luxury playhouse during Henrico CASA’s third annual Home for Good® Playhouse Event at Short Pump Town Center, April 21 through May 7.
In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Henrico CASA is hosting a fundraising and awareness event to benefit Henrico’s children. Home for Good® encourages and symbolizes the positive, carefree childhoods that each child in Richmond deserves. Henrico CASA has partnered with local builders to design six unique luxury playhouses that will be on display at Short Pump Town Center for just over two weeks. The public will have the opportunity to make a $5 donation for the chance to win a playhouse. All donations go toward ensuring that each child has a safe, healthy home.
The 2023 playhouses are being built by Classic Construction, DPR Construction, Loughridge & Company, UrbanCore Construction, W.M. Jordan Company and students enrolled in Henrico’s Career & Technical Education Program. Henrico CASA’s annual Home for Good® event is a crucial part of the organization, raising awareness for vulnerable children in the community. Since the creation of the event, the growing success has exceeded all expectations, raising over $95,000 last year (you may recall that The Phil covered its inaugural Home for Good® event back in 2021).
