VoteEquality Celebrates Gender Equality with Artists4ERA

Enjoy viewing inspiring, inclusive artwork as VoteEquality launches its “Artists4ERA” exhibition, celebrating the Equal Rights Amendment at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture on Feb. 17, 2023. 

Artists4ERA has curated 28 new pieces of artwork for the event, designed to motivate gender equality advocates. The artists’ work is part of a national effort to bring awareness to the Equal Rights Amendment. The works portray gender equality representation and inclusivity. 

Artists represented in the show include:

CrudCity, EVERGIB (Rachel Scott Everett + Brian Gibson), Faithe Norrell, Fried Skrimpz, Haadia Khan, Hamilton Glass, Jess Walters, Jowarnise, Mahari Chabwera, Meme, Michael Birch Pierce, Nico Cathcart, Noah Scalin, Pete Morelewicz, Rachel Welsh de Iga, Roshi, Tracie Ching, Silly Genius, Sophiola, Studio Two Three, Amir Khadar, Chuck Sperry, Claw Money, Deedee Cheriel, Ferris Plock, Kelly Tunstall, Shepard Fairey, Tara McPherson

The event will kick off at 7:00 p.m. with a tour of the featured artwork from both Virginia and national artists. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be available at the reception following the tour, along with the opportunity to purchase artwork from the event. 

VIP guest tickets start at $250 and include a private reception featuring artists and signed prints. Reception tickets are available for $38 and student/financial-need tickets are available for $10. Tickets can be purchased on the event website

The exhibition will remain on display through April 2 at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture for public viewing.
