DESCRIPTION:Book It For Books 2025 is Reading is Fundamental of Northern Virginia’s biannual fund- and fun-raiser to raise funds to provide books for 23\,000 area children\, many of whom have few — to no — books of their own. The day is geared for serious runners\, as well as for children and families\, with a face-painting station\, books for children to take home to keep\, and music provided by the Vienna School of Rock. The emcee will be NBC4 reporter Ted Oberg. The RIF NOVA mascot\, Clifford the Big Red Dog\, will be there\, too\, with hugs and high-fives to cheer the crowd. Book It For Books 2025 will take place at Lake Accotink Park in Springfield\, Virginia.
