DESCRIPTION:We’ll be hosting Dogtown Dance Day on September 21st\, 2024 from 8a-430p! \nA full day of open\, dance classes taught across all dance genres: Jazz\, Hip Hop\, Modern\, Salsa\, Tap\, Contemporary and MORE! We gathered a few of the most talented professionals within our dance community to offer a diverse lineup of dance genres. All ages and all skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to attend. All participants must be high school age or older. \nAdmission fee for each class is $20. SUMMARY:RVA East End Festival
DESCRIPTION:The RVA East End Festival\, a celebration of music and the arts supporting Richmond Public Schools (RPS) in the East End\, is scheduled for Saturday\, Sept. 21\, 2024 from Noon-9:00pm at Chimborazo Park\, 3215 E. Broad Street in Richmond. The festival is a fun\, free family event for the entire RVA community that will feature performances by local professionals including Chamber Ensembles of the Richmond Symphony\, the Celebration Male Chorus\, the Dap Mallory Band\, and headliners Victor Haskins and James “Saxsmo” Gates\, among others. The musical talents of some RPS students will also be on display. Enjoy music\, food vendors and more! Rain or shine—if inclement weather\, event will be a Martin Luther King\, Jr. Middle School\, 1000 Mosby St.
