SUMMARY:The Richmond Dance Festival
DESCRIPTION:Dogtown Dance is proud to present the 2026 Richmond Dance Festival\, April 10th and 11th\, 2026. This two-day festival will feature exceptional local and regional dance artists throughout Richmond\, VA\, as well as nationwide dance film artists. \nRDF supports established and rising choreographers and dance film artists\, providing them with an opportunity to present their work to a live audience. This festival gives independent artists the ability to avoid the typical obstacles to performance\, such as production and marketing costs\, while offering the privileges of performing in front of a diverse audience from all parts of the Richmond community. \nThe festival will include multiple live performances\, as well as screenings of dance on film. One of the performances during Richmond Dance Festival will be the Next Generation Showcase. Highlighting youth ensembles and choreographers\, all under the age of 18 years old. Showcasing a variety of styles and talent\, also from local and regional artists. This festival is a variety of skilled performance artists whose artistic zest fills the city with life and reaffirms Richmond as the creative hub of Central Virginia. \n– FRIDAY April 10th\, 2026 | 7pm\n– SATURDAY April 11th\, 2026 | 2pm & 7pm \nAll tickets are $20/person\n– $15/person for military\, seniors\, or students
